Production Time

Our gift boxes are all hand made in our shop just outside of Philadelphia, PA and each one is lovingly made to order. Once your order is placed, please allow 1-3 business days for production plus transit time, not including the day you placed your order. Do you need your order rushed? We can help! Large bulk orders may require extended production times depending on the size of your order. If production time will exceed 1-3 days, we will reach out and provide you with an accurate estimate on a case by case basis. 

Shipping + Transit Time

All gift boxes shipped with the "Free Shipping" selection at checkout will ship via Fedex Ground which is advertised by Fedex as a 1-5 business day lead time anywhere in the contiguous United States. For an up-to-date estimated transit time via Fedex Ground, check here. Please note that shipping problems have been mild to severe the past year +, and these calculations do not take into consideration any Covid, inclement weather, or holiday-related delays. 

Rush Options

We offer rush shipping options via Fedex only at checkout: Fedex 2-Day, Fedex Next-Day Standard and Fedex Next-Day Priority. For Fedex Next-Day orders ONLY, rush production is available. If you place your order before 10 a.m. EST and select Fedex Next-Day at checkout, we will also expedite the production of your order so it will bypass our 1-3 day production period and ship out the same day (Monday through Friday).

Fedex Next-Day orders placed after 10 am EST and/or on weekends will ship out the following business day. Same-day production with Fedex Next-Day orders may not be available for bulk orders and if this is the case with your order, we will contact you immediately with a realistic turnaround time for production. Important: same-day gift production is only available for Fedex Next-Day orders and does not apply to Fedex 2-day orders.

 

Pickup Same-Day

We offer Local Pickup Same-Day at our Philadelphia-area shop! Place your online order by 11 am EST, select "Local Pickup" at checkout, and we’ll have your gift ready by 3 pm that same day and available for pickup between 3 pm - 4 pm EST or anytime the following business day between 8 am – 4 pm. You will receive an email from us letting you know the moment your gift is officially ready! Pickup is available Mon-Fri only. 

Our shop is located at 237 Jacksonville Road in Hatboro, PA, 19040, in the ground floor retail space of the Hatboro Lofts Apartment building. Please come to any door marked "Digibuddha," (our sister company!) and a member of our team will assist you. Please have a copy of your email confirmation ready so we can match it up to your order. (We do allow you to send a friend, family member, or courier to pickup on your behalf but they must bring along a copy of your email confirmation.) Until further notice, please remain just inside the doorway and face masks are required while being helped by our staff, for the safety of our employees and clients. Quantities of more than three gifts may be subject to longer lead times. We will notify you immediately if your pickup time will be different from above. 

PO Box Shipping

Unfortunately we are not able to accept order with PO Box delivery addresses, as Fedex is unable to deliver to PO boxes. Orders placed with a PO box listed as the address will immediately be cancelled and a full refund will be issued. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Current Covid Shipping Delays

We are NOT able to guarantee transit times, as they can vary greatly because of the impact Covid has had on supply chains.  If your gift is time sensitive, please consider upgrading to rush shipping at checkout which may help speed things up! At this time, we do not issue refunds, offer discounts, or accept returns for gifts that experience transit delays as these delays are unfortunately completely out of our control. The only exception to this is Fedex Next Day service which we are able to guarantee at this time.

Gifts Marked Return To Sender

If your gift is returned to our studio as undeliverable, we are happy to re-ship your gift following this protocol:

  • We notify you via email and/or phone call that your gift box has been returned and the reason it was returned (i.e. not picked up, declined by recipient, invalid address)
  • You provide us with an updated/valid mailing address to attempt re-delivery
  • We open the shipping box and adjust anything that may have shifted around within the gift box during transit to make sure the gift is in perfect condition to be shipped again
  • We repackage your gift in a brand new, clean shipping box with new packaging material
  • The fee to re-process return-to-sender gifts is $15 plus the actual cost of postage
  • We will send you an invoice electronically and once the invoice is paid, we will re-ship the gift to your recipient within 2 business days
  • If the invoice is not paid within 5 business days of the invoice being sent, the gift is considered unclaimed and becomes the property of Aevum + Ink. No refunds or credits will be issued.
  • If Aevum + Ink does not receive a response within 10 business days of notifying you that the gift has been returned, the gift is considered unclaimed and becomes the property of Aevum + Ink. No refunds or credits will be issued.

 

A NOTE ABOUT SUBSTITUTIONS: We pride ourselves on supporting small-batch and local artisan businesses by including their goods in our gift boxes. As a result, certain items can become unavailable on occasion and without a lot of notice, especially during Covid-19. In the event an item is unavailable at the time of your order, we reserve the right to substitute an item of the same type, of equal or greater value, and as close to your original item as possible. We will only choose an item as a substitution if it meets our high quality & aesthetic standards for the gift.
